Making Malls Great Again

Under owner, Leo Karruli’s leadership, the Johnstown Galleria Mall is making history as the “First Small Business Mall Ever.” As reported in the November 27, 2024 edition of the Tribune-Democrat, the Galleria is the first mall in America where small business owners and local entrepreneurs can establish their presence alongside national retail companies and big box anchor stores like JC Penney and Boscov’s.

This novel approach has brought an eclectic mix of specialty shops and dining experiences, with each storefront representing a local entrepreneur’s dream coming to life.
